We have but a few photos of the parade because we are marching with the Honor Guard at the front of the parade and carrying a flag makes it difficult to take pictures. But we will gladly post parade photos here or link to them from the appropriate page. | One of the traditions of Steuben's Day is the Blessing of the Flags at St. Patrick's Cathedral. Every Society with marching flags is invited to have them blessed before the Parade starts. Mass was conducted by Cardinal Egan. The photos on this page were taken in September 2001, just a week after the Towers fell. | ||
