Links
American Turners and affiliates:
Please pardon a personal note:
My fathers folks came from Achern, a town in southwest Germany, just south of Baden Baden. I recently found out that Achern has their own website; www.achern.de and that the Achern Turners are still going strong and also have their own website, www.tv-achern.de .
I met Rudi and Uschi Hamerski from TV-Achern at the Frankfurt Turnfest and had such a good time talking with them, that I thought others may want to do the same sort of thing. So, I am offering time and space on this page to any Turner who would like to have a link back to the Turnverein in the town where their folks came from.
If you want the link posted here, just send me an email with the link and a few words about the society.

Turners in Germany
Rinteln Turners This is the German society that sent a great group of Turners to our National Turnfest in Aurora. The main page is mostly in English and you can get to pictures of their trip easily. There is also a report of their experience at the Turnfest and here in the USA, auf Deutsch. Lots of interesting photos in a very nicely laid out web site.
Műnchen Turngau This is the web site for the Munich District. It is almost all in German, but it has plenty of interesting things there.
