Frank Wedl of ATNY found a video of the parade and sent us the link.
It worked fine for me, but if you have trouble, copy it then paste in the search box of your browzer and enter.
The video is about 2 hours and 11 minutes long. Lots of information available there even before the parade reaches the reviewing stand that is the point where the videos were taken.
Comments:
The weather was almost perfect and the parade was terrific.
We were able to take about 70 photos and selected these as the best of the bunch. We missed a few, but taking shots from the sidelines is not always the best place to be. Police and other photogs seem to get between the great shot subject and the lens.
There were some good shots of the American Turners float we missed because we were just too far away or something got in the way. Timing counts and it would have been better if I knew exactly what to expect.
A big THANK YOU to Bruno Klaus for providing the float and its performers.
Some of the photos show the organizaation of the participants, but we don't really know who most of the others are. Help.
The ladies with the 5 red pom pom hats are from the Black Forest.
That big band in the clown outfits were great. They were very upbeat and had everyone on the sidelines dancing.
